The Distribution center Help Desk Support technician will have the responsibility of assisting users on various hardware\software related issues. This position will give the associate the opportunity to work as both an individual contributor and in a team environment where analytical skills, leadership, collaboration inclusion and innovation are keys to success.

•Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
•Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
•Document, track, and monitor all problems to ensure a timely resolution
•Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to network and desktop
•Install and configure workstations based on company needs and requirements
•Provide end users support for all IT applications
•Perform manual/automatic backup’s as needed
•Perform other duties or special projects as requested related to area of responsibility

Knowledge & skills
•General knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 Professional and Windows server operating systems , knowledge of Windows 8 and Apple/Mac devices a plus
•General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2010 and 2013 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
•Must have a strong knowledge of WIFI technology, familiarity of Symbol\Zebra WIFI Handheld’s and Hip Printers a big plus
•Must have a strong work ethic, organization skills, the desire to learn and not be afraid to ask questions
•Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
