We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Marketing Ambassador for the Westchester/Bronx region.

•Reports to Community Marketing Manager.
•Drive awareness, retain membership and increase participation of the Modell’s Sporting Goods Team Weeks program
•Build relationships and good will with community members and influencers, in particular those involved with teams, leagues, schools and other community organizations
•Possess a thorough knowledge of Modell’s Sporting Goods’ target customers within your region and their active lifestyles
•Assist with execution of departmental marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts including sponsorships, local marketing promotions, and in-store/field events.
•Complete day-to-day administrative functions including those related to sponsorships and donations as well as vendor and Team Weeks check fulfillment
•Retention and growth of existing Team Weeks member organizations within your region
•Increasing store traffic and sales though Community marketing initiatives.
•Assist in identifying, compiling and communicating product, brand, and color trends as revealed by the community, schools and sponsored organizations to the appropriate buying teams
•Contribution of relevant, timely and community focused material for social media channels.

•4-year college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or Communication preferred.
•Exceptional computer skills (Including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and online search).
•Strong written, verbal communication and sales skills.
•“Can do” attitude and superior “people” skills.
•Knowledge and love of sports.
•Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
•Flexible in work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
•Travel required 60%
•Established relationships in the community a plus.
