We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for digital marketing, including email, SEO/SEM, and display advertising. This person will be data-driven as well as creative. We want someone who is smart, a quick learner, likes to get their hands dirty and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. It is critical for this individual to be open to the idea of being open. The person in this role will ensure that the quality and personalization of our message is never sacrificed, and will be essential to building upon our current program and initiatives as part of the Modell’s Sporting Goods team.

Responsibilities:
•Plan and execute digital marketing initiatives, including SEM/SEO, marketing database segmentation, email and display/re-targeting advertising campaigns
•Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against relevant goals (ROI and KPIs)
•Identify trends and insights and utilize that data to appropriately optimize spend and performance
•Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
•Plan, execute and measure A/B tests and experiments
•Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience
•Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
•Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
•Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
•Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where applicable
•Build and deploy emails within our email platform (Listrak)

Requirements:
• BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
• 2+ years experience in a digital marketing role
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEM/SEO, marketing database segmentation, email and display advertising campaigns
• Highly creative with experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Background in eCommerce with experience optimizing landing pages and user funnels
• Hands-on experiencing using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
• Experience setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
• Past experience with an eCommerce platform and promotion set-up/management preferred
•Data-driven with strong analytical skills
•Willing to have fun and enjoy your job
•Great team player; but able to get things done on your own
