We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Marketing Interns. The program provides college students with a hands-on community marketing experience. The components of the program will provide an opportunity to learn basic marketing and public relations skills including branding, promotion, marketing, and sponsorships. This intern will learn first-hand about youth sports industry trends, target audiences and how to reach them, and the basics of creative development and project management of marketing initiatives. The intern will brainstorm, research, coordinate and execute promotions and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

•Assist in the coordination and implementation of local and regional promotions/events.
•Assist with lead generation for community and youth initiatives.
•Assist with coordination and execution of sports marketing initiatives.
•Coordination of and responses to corporate donations and sponsorship requests.
•Assist with traffic-driving promotional initiatives at local and regional level.
•Assist with maintenance and content building for Facebook.
•Assist with special projects related to reaching of Company website.
•Maintain records and tracking of all events or programs executed.


Requirements:

•Students majoring in Marketing, Advertising and/or Business a plus
•Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
•Strong communication and organizational skills
•High energy and desire to successfully manage projects
•Attention to details and deadline oriented
•A great attitude and superior “people” skills
