We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Receiving Manager in our Distribution Center

•To facilitate the unloading of all inbound sporting goods, apparel and footwear into the Distribution Center in a timely manner
•To ensure that all merchandise is received into the Distribution Center and minimize the entries on the open key rec report
•To help all associates in the Distribution Center and within the receiving department with training to help build confidence, self pride and proficiency.
•To help associates solve problems that arises throughout the day with the receiving or anything having to do with the receiving area
•To help other departments throughout the Distribution Center complete their work when needed
•Work with our associates to maintain and improve accuracy and data integrity in the receiving department
•Work with the Traffic Department to achieve a cohesive and doable schedule to maximize our inbound flow
•To be a role model to the group working side by side and coaching when needed to build a more cohesive group
•Reports to Director of Distribution
•To download all work from the home office to the Distribution Center correctly and on time
•Review the inbound receiving schedule, plan all inbound trailers, live loads and drop trailers
•Oversee department associates, assigning work as needed, and moving associates to different areas as needs arise throughout the day
•Monitor all productivity with in the department and report productivity number each day
•Provide training to existing and new associates to increase flexibility
•Practice and preach the company’s core values every day, discussing them with associates and demonstrating them with actions
•Conveying the department goals and objectives each day as well as what was accomplished the day before
•Making sure all merchandise is unloaded and received in a timely manner, report to Traffic any trailers not completed
•Maintain high levels of data integrity, and continually look to identify problem areas so that we can improve our levels of data integrity
•Help other departments with man power as needed
•Working in an organized manner to maximize productivity
•Keep the receiving area clean and maintained on a daily basis
•Report all productivity levels to the appropriate parties i.e. Director and Vice President of Distribution
•Discuss areas of concern with the appropriate parties, seeking help or giving it as needed
•Develop plans on how to improve productivity, data integrity and at the same time control or lower costs
•Motivate associates, and help them to perform at a high level everyday
•Ensure all merchandise is unloaded in a timely manner
•Ensure that all merchandise is received correctly and accurately
•Maintain high standards of data integrity
•Maintain a high sense of urgency, completing as much work as possible in a given day
•Update associates on department performance and company news and events via our morning huddle
•Maintain department stability and retention by coaching and training

•Detail oriented with excellent communication skills
•Flexibility to adapt to work conditions in peak periods
•Computer literacy, including working knowledge of RF equipment
•Bilingual a plus however not required
